Our cabinet, on Het Blok.
For Jacky & Menno we built a wall-filling made-to-measure cabinet of 240 × 230 × 40 cm: from the first message about the layout to delivery on location, within the filming schedule.
In Het Blok 2026, seven couples in Rotterdam-Crooswijk build their dream home against the clock, with the cameras rolling. Jacky & Menno have been together for 25 years and are celebrating 25 years of marriage this year — Menno builds, Jacky styles. She even quit her job to go all in.
A full wall, floor to ceiling
The brief was a cabinet that fills the entire wall: open compartments to style, closed doors to tuck everything away. It became 5 modules with 12 fronts between them, all exactly the same size, in Elegant black oak.
Menno builds by the motto ‘can’t doesn’t exist’, Jacky decides the style.

The process
From first question to last screw.
Request & briefing
Jacky got in touch with one wish: a cabinet filling the entire wall, with open compartments to style and closed doors to tuck things away.
Made-to-measure design
Together with our team they settled the layout: height, shelves and the split between open compartment and door, tuned to the room in Crooswijk.
Production
Made to measure in Elegant black oak: 5 modules with 12 fronts between them. The same quality we ship as standard — not a TV set piece, but a cabinet to really use.
Delivery & assembly
Delivered in Rotterdam on 19 March 2026. A cabinet normally leaves as a flat pack; for Het Blok our team installed and levelled it themselves, in between the building work.

Ready for the camera.
Styled with exactly the colours from Jacky & Menno's interior: rust, terracotta and warm naturals against the deep black of the fronts.
